We decorated the home with lots of accessories ready for the Kings Coronation and had a superb day. We were all glued to the TV watching the momentous occasion, followed by a visit from Elvis the King. He had us up and about singing and dancing and having a wonderful time.

We had a quintessential afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, cupcakes and a lovely cake to end the day whilst we sang ‘God Save Our King’. Take a look at our picture gallery of the days events.

We have been invited to another party at our regular Tuesday club on the 9th where we will be treated to entertainment and delicious treats. I think we’ll all need to go on a diet after this week. See the photos and videos of the day.

We are planning our Summer Set for July this year - Date to be arranged.

March/April 2023

We’ve had a busy few months getting out to our local Tuesday club enjoying singing and quizzes whilst having a brew amongst friends.

Our new manager Mel joined us in March and is settling in well, getting to know our residents and their families.

One of our Senior Carers, Lily has become Deputy Manager and is thriving in her new role.

We’ve created a new medication room with air-conditioning, ready for those hot summer months.

We also have plans to lay new flooring in the downstairs corridors, new fencing in the front garden, new patio doors and lots of other smaller upgrades. It’s going to be a busy year - but Fairby is very old and needs some attention every now and again.

We are looking forward to The Kings Coronation coming up in May along with a Boat ride on the Medway, Gay Pride month in June and lots of other events taking place.
